As of January 18 I am a Jersey Girl! Mama kept telling me I had to feel sand between my paws before I could claim to be a Jersey Girl. This weekend I was introduced to Barnegat Lighthouse and the beach. We were freezing at the lighthouse. The winds were blowing but that didn't keep people away. Besides me and my family there were hikers, sightseers, and
photographers.
We
left the lighthouse and traveled down the main road in LBI to Surf City. That
is where I experienced the beach for the first time. Mama would not let me go
by the water because it was freezing. She didn't want me to catch a cold. I
thought you caught fish in the ocean but Mama knows best. I don’t know where I
got the idea that you catch fish.
