Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com

Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

More sightings...

Oreo

Mama thought the sunflower on the trail was amazing.  She told me it hardly had any sun to help it thrive although it was doing well in the location. I didn't think anything about it was amazing...I didn't stop to smell the flower, or try to eat it or pee on it. My neighbor, Oreo, would definitely have peed on it! He pees on every pole, mailbox, and plant he passes. How can one little dog have so much fluid in him?

On another walk, I kept sniffing an area until I got Mama's attention. When she saw the turtle she pulled me away and told me to mind my own business and not to poke it. Unfortunately, it didn't matter if I poked it or not because the poor creature was headless.

Trail Tales...

Good day to everyone,
We have been walking every morning and sometimes in the afternoons/evenings.
We just take a different path now so we haven't seen the regulars on the trail.

We met a group of roosters and chickens! I had no idea what the critters were so I took Mama at her word. They weren't afraid until a pickup truck stopped to talk to us about them, which prompted the birds to run for safety under the trees.
We never know what we are going to come across on our walks.

Last week we found a really great rock and we re-hid it although it killed Mama to do so.
She loved it. Hope someone finds it and does the same.

We also found this rock the other day in the Shop Rite parking lot. We are going to add this to a few others from last year and take them down to the new Waretown Rocks collection by the bay.

Today we found this one and re-hid it in Shop Rite parking lot. .

Here are some new pics of me and Oreo (my neighbor).
