Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com

Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

Almost but no cigar

Mama has her summer shoes out now that the weather is finally feeling like spring. I had my eye on the blue pair she was wearing today. Patience pays off! I caught her off guard and stole one of the shoes. It didn't take Mama long though to realize one of the shoes went missing. I was keeping my paws crossed hoping that she would not find it before I had my way with it.

No such luck...she got her shoe back in one piece covered with some wet dog slobber.

We all know there will be another opportunity for me...patience...Mama's shoes are worth the wait.

Woof, woof, till later,

Lost dog was found in Old Tappan--please share

Please share:

Found dog Sunday night around 11:00 PM in Old Tappan,

NJ on Orangeburg Road. Dog had no identification. He (I

believe dog is a male but not sure) is large; white with some

brown markings, but mostly white; gentle; dirty; not afraid of

people except for the officer.

He was taken to the dog warden in Old Tappan by an officer.

I pleaded with the officer not to send the dog to a kill shelter.

The dog seems like a very good dog; he had no problem

waiting with me while the officer drove through the area to

see if anyone was out looking for the dog.

Call Old Tappan Police for more information.
