Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com

Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

Yikes, Mama was sitting right there...

Gratefully Mama and Dad were able to work from home during today’s snow accumulation. Sister also worked from home. Not brother, he had to go out and brave the snow. Two more storms are threatening us but at least today’s is over at the time of this post. Mama keeps saying she is going to get a voodoo doll and call it “winter” and stick pins in. I don’t understand the connection; sometimes humans don’t make any sense whatsoever.

Mama was so engrossed in her work that she didn't bother to look down to see what I was gnawing on. She assumed it was my antler (oh how I love that antler) but I was saving that for later. When she finally decided to give me a loving pat on the head she was surprised to see that I not only chewed one chair leg but I attempted to eat all three!

She was totally embarrassed since she was sitting on the chair and never took the time to see what I was up to. So today’s mischief is the result of both of us not doing the right thing.

Mama sprayed that stinky stuff on the chair legs to keep me away. I have to wait to see how long the scent lingers. I might want to try to sharper my teeth again on the chair.

Woof, woof, till later,
Zoey
