Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com

Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

Slowly the snow melts...

Mama hates snow. We walk along our route and the next thing I know she is kicking the snow! No one knows why she does it, even she doesn't know. She says she is tired of looking at it. I still like jumping in it; climbing the high drifts, and sticking my face in it. Not her.

Here I am a few snow storms ago...this particular picture I have snow on my face. You never know what good junk you are going to find hidden in the snow. My treasures so far mount to old  lottery tickets, banana peel, construction glove, juice bottle, someone's lunch trash (Mama had to really fight with me to get that one away from my mouth). Odd, all that work struggling with me to be top dog and she didn't even eat the lunch! Humans, who can figure them out?

Incognito--that is why you can't see my eyes.
I don't want anyone to recognize me
wearing Sierra's sweater.

Dad, you never know what goodies you will find.
Come on, put your snout in the snow
and sniff around.

But really, Dad, you need some fun.
Do we have to go home?
Please just 5 minutes more; I am begging; just 5 minutes.

Woof, woof, till later,
Zoey
