Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com

Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

What is she talking about?

I was looking over Mama's shoulder while she was perusing Facebook and I saw this cartoon that I thought I would share with you. Am I suppose to be all those things the woman is describing?

  • I am certainly not patient when it comes to my ball
  • I listen when it is to my advantage, like when I want some Cheerios
  • I don't know how to measure my faithfulness, I think Mama is more faithful than I. She is always talking to stars when we are out for walks in the evening. She believes Laura hears her.
  • I can be attentive when someone is offering a treat
  • Forgiving I am--if Dad yells at me for tearing the rug I certainly do forgive him
  • Even-tempered, nah, do you know any females that are even-tempered? I don't think so.
  • Unselfish, this is a tricky one...I guess I can share the sticks I find if I am forced to do so
  • Loyal, yeah, this trait I am proud to have. You threaten my Mama or Dad and you are dealing with me!
Dad, don't take offense to this cartoon.
You and I rule in Mama's book.

Woof, woof till later,
Zoey Elizabeth
