I thought for sure they would have sent me packing after  

I made this mess when I first came to live with them. 

Thank goodness they stuck with me! 

God bless all the humans who open their homes to shelter animals.

Reintroducing my new cousin, Tobi, who was adopted from the Popcorn Zoo. She now has a loving furever home with Jim. Mama says she is a precious girl. She sure looks pretty.

A dog's love is unconditional, it doesn't matter what you have 

or haven't got, it will love you with all its heart.

No phone please

My walking time with Mama is my turn to see the world properly through my nose likes I am meant to and be a dog.  Mama hardly ever talks on her phone when we are strolling along (I can probably count on one paw how many times I have seen her with the phone in the last 8 years) and I truly appreciate it. I am a lucky dog because I get walked 3-4 times a day.  No wonder I am "pooped" by eight o'clock at night!

 Mama, you will always be my one and only mama!

A mother is not only the person who births you.   A mother is a woman who showers you with love, shelter, kindness, and protection. Plus, if you have a superb mother (like I do), she gifts you with lots of treats and sometimes you don't have to work for them. She just looks in your eyes and says "you are too cute," and a treat follows!

 Wow, Mama always tells Dad not to call me "dog." She calls me Zo-Zo, girlfriend, mama, and a bunch of other endearments. I never understand why she says that to Dad since I clearly am a dog. OMG, do you think she thinks I am a large house cat? Or maybe she thinks I am a small panther. I don't get insulted because I love my family and home. After all, Mama rescued me and Dad kept me!
