Zoey has really taken to blogging. She asked me to help her create a blog just for and about her and other canines. She says she wants to spotlight dogs like her. So there is no time like the present to start the New Year off with www.Zoeytherescue.blogspot.com
Zoey wants to remind you that there are tons of animals that need a FUREVER home. Also shelters need donations not only monetary but many other items too. She says to take in consideration that there are lots of humans who donate to wonderful, much-needed causes to help humans but there is not enough humans that donate to help save animals.

Hi everybody,
I hope your summer is going slowly and loaded with fun. Here I am enjoying my gigantic rawhide bone that brother gave me. Mama doesn't give me rawhide so this bone is a really "big" treat for me!
I went to train with Nina today. I showed my ugly side to her when her little Mason came walking my way. Boy, was I corrected immediately and harshly. That was the last time I reacted to dogs in the PetSmart store today. I was even so good I was in the training room with Mason and a boxer and I didn't reach out to hurt either one of them. I just rested on the floor and watched them do their dogie thing. Mama was so very proud of me. Nina says I have a long way to go to feel comfortable around other dogs. We all keep trying. Mama says she isn't giving up on me. Woof, woof, I am so glad to hear those words!
I have a lot of pictures to post as soon as Mama gets time. Wait to you see me in my pretty pink pool.
Speaking of pool, last Sunday I fell in brother's humongous pool (I guess everything brother has is big!). Mama missed it because she was in the house. Kim helped guide me to the steps (although I knew where they were located because Mama makes sure she shows me each time we are in the big, beautiful yard).
Just a quick updated about my nephew, Louie. He is hanging in there and he is so brave. He has another treatment to go and then a biopsy to see if the cancer is gone. Keep him in your thoughts.
Catch you soon...
Woof, woof, till later...
Zoey
