3. In the early 20th century, Pit Bulls were known as “nanny dogs” or “nursemaid dogs” because they were so trusted around children.
4. Pit Bulls are notoriously friendly dogs so you may want to consider another breed as a watch dog.
5. Pit Bulls have appeared in films like John Wick, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Sergeant Stubbie, An American Hero and Homeward Bound. They have been featured as loyal, brave, and loving – all traits true to their character.
